The Barcelona-Sitges Rally Reaches Full Capacity

High demand has led to the early closure of registrations for the 67th Barcelona-Sitges International Vintage Car Rally, with participants coming from various parts of Spain and other European countries.

Once again, the Barcelona-Sitges International Vintage Car Rally proves to be one of the most eagerly awaited events on the motor calendar, an unmissable annual gathering for collectors and enthusiasts of historic vehicles.

The event, set to take place on April 6, has reached a total of 79 registered automobiles and 10 motorcycles, along with their respective occupants. As a result, the organization has decided to close the admission process earlier than expected for the second consecutive year.

The rally not only brings together historic vehicles in pristine condition but also extends beyond national borders. This year, in addition to participants from different regions of Spain, owners from France, Italy, and Portugal have also registered, further reinforcing the international scope of the rally and its appeal to classic car lovers.

To take part, vehicles must meet specific requirements: only automobiles manufactured up to 1928 and motorcycles up to 1938 are eligible for registration. This selection ensures that each edition showcases unique models, a testament to the dedication of their owners in preserving the essence of early motoring.

Moreover, this year’s edition will feature 16% new participants, drivers who will experience for the first time the thrill of crossing the Costes del Garraf Road on a route closed to traffic. The opportunity to drive along this spectacular and challenging road, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, is undoubtedly one of the key aspects that make the rally a unique event and the reason why most participants are eager to return year after year.

In short, the Barcelona-Sitges Rally is not just a parade of historic cars but a true celebration of automotive culture, where tradition and passion come together at every kilometer of the journey.
